I love to hand write letters. Stick a stamp on it and mail it to a friend. Just knowing they are going to walk to their mail box, expecting depressing bills, just to see a happy letter there just for them, makes me smile. I will be honest, I do have that tiny glimpse of hope they they would write me back, so I too can have that moment of unknown thrill. To no avail it never happens. Instead I get a call saying thank you, or an email in reply. There are two sides to this for me. I love taking time for my friends, and making them happy in a special way. Letting them know what they mean to me. The other side (shamelessly I admit) I would hope they would return the gesture. I know it is a terrible thing, to give something and expect something in return. Really, it is for me the giving, and not the getting. It has become the art of email, that make letters a dying art!

Look Up!
I have always stopped to look up. The things you can see if you take your eyes off the world straight ahead, and just look up. You will see many photo's I have taken are of things right above me. It is amazing what you can see. On a side note, I have to share, I just reconnected with a friend today. We have been friends for many years. The interesting part about our friendship, is we have never met! Non the less, he is still one of my great friends, and I only have a couple! So glad your back!

So Close Yet So Far
I keep my camera on hand always. One morning while having my very early morning coffee, I saw these ants eating a lizard tail. Nature is amazing!
No matter what I do I cannot get this feeling out of my body! My mind is ready to explode. Soon it will piece together, to become my mini masterpiece. You have to start some where right?

Can't Sit Still
I took this photo while looking for inspiration. There was something about this porch that seemed so peaceful, and creepy at the same time. I have had a creative itch again. This one is hard to satisfy. I decided to start this blog to help ease the need to create while I hunt for the perfect creative outlet. Once I have found satisfaction, I will be sure to share it with you.
